Laser Hair Removal

Lasers are a wonderful way to remove hair because they are fast, effective and have no recovery time whatsoever after the procedure. The laser hair reduction procedure is only mildly uncomfortable with our cutting edge laser technology at the DermLaser Institute of Dallas. We can treat every skin type using the Nd:YAG laser on our Sciton profile. Additionally, we offer the Broad Band Light source as another alternative for hair reduction to our lighter skin types (types I-III). At the DermLaser Institute of Dallas, only the physician will provide the hands-on treatment. You will receive your treatments in the comfort of a physician office with a spa-like ambience.

Hair removal/reduction lasers reduce the hair in size or thickness as well as lighten the color of the hair. Typically, one can expect to have 4-6 treatments to get the necessary reduction in size and color such that it appears that no hair is actually present. Once clearance is achieved, it is recommended to have annual or semi-annual follow-up laser treatments to maintain this optimum result.
